Why didn't I get the OMNY fare cap?

The MTA's OMNY program caps your fares at $34 a week when you tap with the same card and device. You can read more information about this program here: OMNY fare-capping.

Note that in order to get this benefit, you need to use the same card AND the same device:

• ✅ tapping just with your Alice physical card
• ✅ adding your Alice instant card to your phone, and tapping with that
• ❌ using your Alice physical card sometimes and your Alice instant card other times
• ❌ adding your Alice card to your phone and smart watch, and using both
