Connecting ADP Workforce Now and Alice

To connect ADP Workforce Now to Alice, create a non-employee User Admin contact for Alice, then grant it People and Payroll Processing access. This sets up Alice as your pretax benefits service provider in ADP Workforce Now.

You must be an Administrator with permission to create a new User Admin. The steps below grant non-employee access to Alice for all of your paygroups.

Step 1: Create an admin account for Alice

Go to Setup > Tools > Support.
Select Client Contact Change.
Select Add New Contact.
Select No (Alice is not an employee or contractor of your company).
Enter the requested information:
1. First Name: Alice
2. Last Name: Financial
3. Job Title: Leave blank
4. Email Address: alice@thisisalice.com
5. Phone No.: 917-336-9115
Under Access Settings, select No, let me choose the options manually.
Make sure all companies are selected.
Under Administrator Access Option, choose User Admin.
Under Product Access, select Yes to give the contact ADP Workforce Now access.
Leave all boxes unchecked.
Select Submit.

Step 2: Grant the permissions Alice needs

To process pretax benefits and run quality checks, Alice needs access to:

View Payroll Cycles and Schedules
Import Batch Pay Data
Build & Run Roster Reports
Audit Reports
View Employee Pay Stubs

Go to Setup > Security > Access Permissions.
Under Individual Permissions, select Manage People.
Open the Financial, Alice non-employee account you created. If you cannot find the account, check that Filters is not excluding non-employees.
Under People Access, set Alice to View & Edit Access to all People.
Under Payroll Processing Access, set Alice to All Company Codes - View & Edit.

You have finished creating a user profile for Alice. We will receive a welcome email with user credentials.

The phone number and email address above are for setting up Alice's access level in payroll only, not for contacting Alice for support. Enter them exactly as shown.
