Parking apps compatible with Alice Card
Alice Card is a Visa commercial credit card and works at qualifying parking apps and merchants that accept Visa. Qualified parking under the federal commuter benefit rule (§132(f)) covers garages, lots, meters, and parking apps near work or near a transit stop you use to commute. The 2026 monthly limit is $340.

Troubleshooting
If your card is declined at a parking merchant you believe should qualify, contact employee support at support@thisisalice.com or (888) 431-4355. Common reasons:
- Monthly cap reached
- Merchant category code not categorized as qualified parking
- Account balance issues
How paying works
When you pay for parking through an app or at a garage that accepts Visa, the merchant transmits a category code. Alice's platform recognizes qualifying parking merchant codes and pulls from your parking balance up to the monthly limit.
If a purchase goes over your monthly cap, what happens next depends on your employer's plan rules.
Where it may not work
- Apps that only accept ACH or bank transfers (rare)
- Apps tied to non-commute use, such as event parking apps for stadiums, valet apps for restaurants, and residential parking apps
- Any parking outside the qualifying §132(f) definition (residence, recreation, or non-commute)
