Why can’t I connect my bank?

You should now be able to connect (or reconnect) your personal accounts, although a small set of users are still experiencing card connectivity errors.

  • There may be a delay in Alice recognizing your past transactions. Our team is working to resolve this portion of the connectivity issue now.
  • Once a full resolution is in place, we'll look back to catch up on your past transactions and help you save, as long as your bank is compatible with Alice.
  • If you are connecting a new account to Alice, please review the banks not compatible below.

There are a few reasons why you may not be able to connect your bank card or credit card with Alice right away.

  1. You need to change your search. Example: Try 'American Express' instead of 'Amex' and 'U.S. Bank' instead of 'us Bank'
  2. You don't have an online bank account or credit card account set up yet
  3. You're trying to connect a small institution that isn't supported by our partners
  4. You're trying to connect a prepaid card that is not compatible with Alice
  5. You're trying to connect Apple Card (Apple issued Credit Card), or another bank that does not allow third-party connections
  6. You're trying to connect a Store Card that is not compatible with Alice

If you can't get connected right away, let us know the name of the bank/credit card you're looking for so we can help.
